It certainly would have made for a very nice two part, cliffhanger episode. A whole story arc dedicated to a bounty hunter tournament would be nice, and cover some untouched expanded universe lore.
I would think it does. The caffeine would likely be solubilized in the Mac & Cheese, and if not there, it will be solubilized in your body. It's the next Olestra.
